My name is Bijal Mithawala, and I am the proud founder of Bijal Mithawala Boutique in Vadodara, Gujarat. My journey into the world of fashion wasn’t always clear, but I’ve always had a deep passion for style and design. After completing my engineering degree, I realized my true calling was in fashion. So, in 2015, I decided to pursue a fashion design diploma at the NIF Global Institute in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. This was the turning point that set my career in motion.

The diploma program at NIF Global was comprehensive and gave me a solid foundation in various aspects of fashion, from design to pattern making and illustration. I quickly realized that fashion was not just about clothing but a form of expression. The lessons I learned from talented mentors like Shital Mam and Lovell Sir were invaluable. The practical experiences I gained, such as working behind the scenes at Lakmé Fashion Week, further honed my skills.
Building My Brand: A Dream Realized
In 2018, I took a leap of faith and left my job to start Bijal Mithawala Boutique back in my hometown. The boutique specializes in ethnic clothing, offering customized lehenga cholis, gowns, kurtis, and more. Over the years, the brand has grown, attracting clients worldwide, particularly for our Navratri chaniya cholis. The brand carries my unique essence, reflected in my surname, and I am proud to offer a one-stop solution for all wedding and ethnic wear needs.
From Passion to Profession: Designing Success
The foundation I gained through my studies at NIF Global and my personal drive led me to success. Today, my boutique employs over 15 team members, including assistant designers and skilled artisans specializing in intricate handwork. The brand’s growth has been immense, and I owe much of this journey to the knowledge and exposure I received at NIF Global.
