At NIF Global (New York Institute of Fashion), innovation and practical learning go hand in hand. Our Pune Pimpri Chinchwad (PCMC) campus recently hosted an engaging Resin Art Workshop, led by expert faculty member Miss Ashtami Patel. This immersive session introduced students to one of today’s most dynamic creative mediums—resin—redefining how future professionals approach fashion, interior design, and clothing. By blending epoxy resin with pigments, metallic powders, or decorative elements like glitter, students crafted sleek, high-gloss pieces ranging from bold jewelry to stylish home decor. They also developed hands-on skills in techniques like layering, color mixing, and safe curing—gaining both creative confidence and technical precision in the process.
In the world of fashion design, resin plays a unique role—enabling the creation of lightweight accessories, bold embellishments, and custom finishes. In interior styling, it allows for innovative designs like resin-coated tabletops, wall accents, and modern art pieces. The workshop supports NIF Global’s mission to provide hands-on learning through its industry-relevant degree and diploma courses, helping students apply creativity in meaningful, career-oriented ways.
With access to cutting-edge tools and the mentorship of professionals like Miss Ashtami Patel, students were encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, and express their individual style. The session reinforced the institute’s focus on blending conceptual design education with applied, real-world practice.
This workshop in Pune Pimpri Chinchwad was more than a creative exercise—it was a stepping stone for students to evolve as innovative thinkers and adaptable designers.
