I’m Shabana Shaikh, a fashion designer and stylist. I studied at NIF Global Pimpri Chinchwad, where I built a strong foundation in fashion design. My journey began with an internship at SASH, a men’s wear label, where I honed my skills. The knowledge and experience gained helped shape my entrepreneurial path, driving my passion for creating accessible luxury fashion.
I run Mushnaj, a boutique in PCMC named after my parents' initials—Mustafa, Najema, and Shabana. From humble beginnings, they taught me the value of service. Mushnaj offers affordable luxury, specializing in custom and rental wear for weddings and events. The brand reflects their values of accessibility and service.
Sustainability is at the heart of my vision—offering luxury without the high price. I provide rentals, customization, and styling services focused on customer satisfaction. My goal is to make high-quality, affordable fashion accessible, allowing clients to enjoy luxury while making a sustainable choice and shining at their events.
My time at NIF Global PCMC was truly transformative. It taught me to seize opportunities and think creatively. Under the guidance of mentors like Shital Ma'am, I pushed my limits and challenged myself. One of my proudest moments was designing a showstopper for Lalit Choudhary, which was selected for Gen Next at Lakmé Fashion Week. I also made history by becoming the first girl from Pune to win runner-up at Lakmé Launchpad.
Guided by my parents' values, Mushnaj blends elegance with affordability, creating luxurious experiences that inspire confidence and joy. I won the Best Student Award at NIF Global Pimpri Chinchwad in Thailand and remain grateful for the invaluable guidance of my mentors.
